Founded in 2012, Women in Architecture Salt Lake City (WIA SLC) is dedicated to achieving gender parity in the architecture profession. Through community engagement, mentorship, and advocacy, WIA SLC empowers women architects in the local area.
Despite nearly 50% of architecture graduates being women, less than 20% become licensed professionals. WIA SLC addresses this disparity by supporting women through community events, licensing exam sponsorships, and mentorship programs, fostering a more inclusive architectural landscape.
