Women Giving Back

Our Story

Women Giving Back supports women and children in crisis by providing quality clothing at no cost, aided by a caring community. Founded in 2007, the organization emerged from the need to address the barriers faced by women in shelters due to inadequate clothing. Starting as a program under HomeAid Northern Virginia, it has grown to serve over 24,000 women and children annually, supported by nearly 5,000 volunteers and 1,300 referral partners.

Impact

Since 2016, Women Giving Back has distributed over 3 million pieces of clothing, impacting the lives of over 24,000 women and 39,361 children, while also providing essential items like diapers and snack packs.
