Our Story
Founded in 1913 by 29 visionary women, the Woman’s Club of Stuart has been a cornerstone of community development in Stuart, Florida. With a population of just 400 at the time, these women sought to create a better future for their community. They initiated projects that established a park system, a public hospital, and a free public library, laying the groundwork for a thriving community. Over the years, the club has awarded over $400,000 in scholarships to high school seniors and women pursuing higher education or vocational training, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to education and empowerment.
