About Woman on Purpose

Founded in 2006 by Pastor Bola Adepoju, Woman on Purpose is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women and youth in the Atlanta community. With a mission to uplift individuals from all walks of life, WOP addresses not only spiritual needs but also the holistic well-being of women and their families.

Our Journey

Initially focused on women’s conferences and events, Woman on Purpose expanded its outreach in 2011 to support homeless shelters in the Atlanta Metropolitan area. This included providing essential items such as clothing, hygiene products, food, and health screenings. In 2017, the organization recognized the need to engage with female youth and young adults, further broadening its impact.

Community Impact

Through partnerships with various organizations, churches, and shelters, Woman on Purpose has developed programs that empower, educate, and support women and their families. The organization aims to create a sustainable positive impact on the community, addressing issues such as homelessness, poverty, and teenage pregnancy.
