Our Story

Founded in 1971 by Jody Pinto, WOAR Philadelphia Center Against Sexual Violence emerged from the need to support sexual assault victims and their families. Over the years, the organization has evolved to provide essential counseling, advocacy, and education aimed at preventing sexual violence and empowering survivors.
