Established in 1995, WNC Health Network was founded by dedicated leaders from regional hospitals to improve healthcare in western North Carolina. Initially focused on quality improvement and cost savings through group purchasing, the organization has evolved to include a regional health information exchange and a focus on population health. By partnering with health directors from the Western North Carolina Partnership for Public Health, WNC Health Network enhances collaborative health improvement efforts.
