About Witco

Incorporated in 1974, Witco, originally known as the Western Idaho Training Company, is a mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to meeting the needs of individuals with disabilities. As the first comprehensive community rehabilitation program in the Treasure Valley, Witco has played a pivotal role in advocating for the rights of people with disabilities, contributing to significant legislation such as the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Our Impact

Witco serves up to 800 adults and children each year across a ten-county area in Idaho and Eastern Oregon. Through vocational training, community employment, and advocacy, individuals with severe disabilities find new friends, career paths, and greater independence.
