Our Story

The vision for Congregations United to Serve Humanity (CUSH) began in 1998 when religious leaders gathered to discuss a desire to work together. Inspired by WISDOM, an interfaith social justice organization was born. In 2000, ten congregations officially formed CUSH, utilizing congregation-based community organizing to combat poverty, racism, and injustice.

Our Impact

CUSH is an interfaith coalition dedicated to living faith and values in pursuit of justice through advocacy, education, and empowerment.
