Our Story

The Wisconsin Volunteer Coordinators Association (WVCA) began in July 1969 when five dedicated county social service volunteer coordinators organized the first state conference on volunteerism. Over the years, this grassroots initiative has blossomed into a vital organization that hosts the Wisconsin Volunteer Training Institute (WVTi) conferences, bringing together hundreds of volunteer coordinators from various nonprofit and government agencies.

Our Impact

WVCA plays a crucial role in providing statewide volunteer management training and advocating for volunteerism across Wisconsin.
