Founded in 2011, Winters Farm to School is a community-driven initiative aimed at educating children about the importance of healthy eating and reconnecting them with the agricultural heritage of Winters, California. The program began with a Summer Extravaganza, where 150 children participated in food-themed games and took home fresh vegetables. This hands-on approach to learning has blossomed into a thriving program that includes school gardens at Waggoner Elementary and Shirley Rominger School.

At Winters Farm to School, children engage in experiential learning by planting, nurturing, and harvesting their own food.
