Since 1856, Winous Point has been a leader in waterfowl and wetlands conservation. As the steward of one of Ohio's largest wetlands, the organization has pioneered innovative strategies for wetland protection, restoration, and management. Established in 1999, the Winous Point Marsh Conservancy continues to address the challenges facing wetland conservation in the southwest Lake Erie region.
Through private contributions and leveraged grant funds, the Winous Point Marsh Conservancy collaborates with neighbors, state and federal agencies, and other nonprofit groups to facilitate vital wetland conservation programs and research.
