Our Story
Founded in 1943 during the Second World War, Winnetka Community Nursery School was established by a group of dedicated mothers to care for children while their parents contributed to the war effort. Opening its doors in 1944, the school has continually evolved to meet the needs of the community, expanding its programs to include a comprehensive day care and various enrichment activities. The annual Children's Fair exemplifies the school's commitment to community involvement, raising funds for scholarships and special needs.
