Our Story

Wingspan Life Resources began in 1973 when two compassionate church members discovered women with developmental disabilities living in distress at a Board and Care Home. They took action by moving in to provide care, leading to the establishment of St. Ann's Residence under Catholic Charities. Over the years, the organization has evolved, opening multiple homes and services for individuals with developmental disabilities. In 2000, it officially changed its name to Wingspan Life Resources to reflect its broader mission. Today, it serves over 130 individuals across 33 homes in the Twin Cities, committed to high standards of care and community support.
