Our Story
Wings of Blessing originated in the early 1970s in Indonesia, evolving from a flight program initiated by the Regions Beyond Missionary Union. This program, known as Regions Wings, was dedicated to supporting church planting efforts in the remote areas of Irian Jaya, Indonesia. Over the years, the program expanded significantly, transitioning from a single Cessna 185 to a fleet of four aircraft. Following a merger with another mission organization, the flight program was renamed Tariku Aviation, and a Papuan board was established to oversee operations. In 2010, the program was nationalized, leading to the donation of the Cessna aircraft to Wings of Blessing, which now focuses on humanitarian services in Central America.
