Our Story

Wingard Home is a long-term transition home dedicated to serving the homeless and displaced individuals in Jackson, Mississippi. Established in 1990 by Pastors Roy and Charlotte Wingard, who have personally experienced poverty and homelessness, the organization focuses on keeping family units intact while providing a holistic approach to solving homelessness.

Impact

Each year, Wingard Home serves over 250 individuals, offering safe housing, nutritious meals, and essential support services. With a capacity to accommodate 60 residents at a time, the facility allows individuals to stay until they achieve stability and are ready for independent living.
