Our Mission

The Windham Region No Freeze Project is committed to the short and long-term survival of adults experiencing homelessness in our community. By providing safe, temporary shelter and reconnecting individuals to stable housing, the project plays a vital role in combating homelessness in Windham, Connecticut.

Impact

Last year, the project provided emergency shelter for 122 adults and diverted 87 individuals to permanent housing solutions. With comprehensive assessments for 304 people, the initiative also offered job experience to 10 individuals facing employment challenges.
