About Winchester Little Theatre
The Winchester Little Theatre (WLT) is a vibrant, all-volunteer community theater organization founded in 1929. Located in an old Pennsylvania Railroad freight station in Winchester, Virginia, WLT has transformed from amateur productions to a serious theatrical enterprise, offering a full season of plays and engaging workshops.
Impact on the Community
WLT has significantly enriched the cultural fabric of Winchester by providing live theatrical experiences and engaging local youth through its WLT for Kids program. Since 1990, WLT has hosted around 190 fundraising events for over fifty local civic and charitable organizations.
