About WAG Rescue

Founded in 2009 by Patricia Davis and Debbie Nordyke, Wimberley Adoption Group and Rescue Corporation, known as WAG Rescue, emerged from a heartfelt need to save unclaimed dogs in the Wimberley area. Starting with a garage sale fundraiser, WAG has evolved into a thriving nonprofit organization, operating a retail thrift store, Treasures on Twelve, which directly supports rescue efforts.

Since its inception, WAG Rescue has successfully rescued and adopted out over 2,000 dogs and puppies, while also returning countless lost pets to their owners. The organization provides essential veterinary care, socialization, and training, fostering responsible pet ownership and advocating for spay/neuter initiatives.
