Our Story

Founded in 2016 by Paul Bierch and Carolyn Niesche, Will Work for Recovery was born from personal experiences with recovery. The organization supports individuals struggling with substance use disorder in Minneapolis, creating a peer-to-peer recovery model that meets people where they are in life.

Impact

In 2023, Will Work for Recovery made significant strides, hosting 936 recovery meetings and introducing evidence-based programs like trauma support groups and computer classes. These initiatives foster community strength and holistic recovery support.
