Founded by sisters Joan Hallagan and Cathy Maassen in 2022, Will’s Place was inspired by the joy that Joan's son, William, has brought to their family and community. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to providing meaningful employment and vocational training opportunities for adults with disabilities. The café, which opened on July 8th, 2023, has quickly become a hub of community support and engagement.
Since its opening, Will’s Place has successfully trained a team of 20 employees, addressing the significant gap in job opportunities for adults with disabilities. The overwhelming community support during the grand opening event showcased the positive impact this initiative has on the local area.
