About Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation
Founded in 1977 by Lynn Cuny, Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation (WRR) began in a San Antonio backyard and has grown into a vital sanctuary for native wildlife. Located on a 212-acre facility near Kendalia, Texas, WRR serves San Antonio, Austin, and surrounding counties, providing assistance to wild animals in need across the nation.

Every year, WRR rescues over 10,000 wild animals and has provided care for more than 200,000 since its inception. With around 500-600 animals receiving permanent care, WRR is dedicated to ensuring that every creature receives the attention and respect it deserves.
