Our Story

Founded in 2004 by Jim Willis and John Webb, the Wildlife Habitat Federation (WHF) began with a mission to assist landowners in restoring and managing prairie habitats. Starting with a 225-acre ranch in Texas, WHF has expanded its reach to 50 counties, promoting conservation practices and restoring native grasslands.

Impact

WHF has successfully improved habitat management on over 110,000 acres across Texas, enhancing biodiversity and natural resources. Their initiatives also include urban projects that create green spaces and mitigate flooding.

Why Donate?

Your contributions to WHF support vital restoration and management of prairie habitats, essential for conserving soil, water, air, and wildlife.
