Our Story

Founded in 1994, Wildlife Care of Ventura County emerged from a collective concern for the increasing number of wild animals affected by urbanization. As human activities continue to threaten wildlife, the need for experienced rehabilitators has never been greater. Each year, thousands of wild animals in Ventura and Los Angeles Counties are injured, orphaned, or displaced due to human-created challenges. Through dedicated efforts, many of these animals receive the care they desperately need, allowing them to return to their natural habitats.

Our Impact

With specialized techniques and tailored diets, Wildlife Care of Ventura County successfully rehabilitates and releases the majority of its patients back into the wild, restoring balance to our ecosystem.
