With the dedication of countless volunteers, including Boy Scout troops and local clubs, this vision transformed into a reality, creating a nature retreat accessible to all.
Wilderness on Wheels offers a unique opportunity for individuals of all ages and abilities to experience the beauty of nature. The 1-mile boardwalk, which rises to over 9,000 feet in elevation, allows everyone to connect with the great outdoors.
