Our Story

Wilderness Adventures for Kids Everywhere, Inc. was founded by Sean Jordan and Deanne Woodard to provide mentoring and outdoor experience programs for youth in grades K-12 from low-income and marginalized communities. The organization aims to foster pro-social friendships, strong interpersonal skills, resiliency, and self-awareness while developing outdoor sportsman skills.

Impact

W.A.K.E., Inc. empowers youth to establish goals and follow through on commitments, expanding their perspectives and making them aware of life's possibilities. Scholarships are provided for program participants to pursue education beyond high school, ensuring opportunities for growth and development.
