About Whittier Regional Symphony
Founded in 1932 by Ruth Haroldson, the Whittier Regional Symphony has evolved from a community orchestra into a vital cultural institution. With a rich history of providing admission-free concerts, the Symphony has been a cornerstone of the Whittier community for over 93 years.
Impact of the Symphony
Each season, the Symphony presents four free classical music concerts, attracting over 1,600 attendees per concert. Additionally, the Music Education Program reaches 8,000 children annually, fostering a love for music in young hearts.
