Our Story

Founded in 1895, Providence Place began as a refuge for unwed mothers and has evolved into a licensed child placement agency in San Antonio, Texas. Over the years, it has adapted its services to meet the changing needs of the community, including providing support for survivors of complex trauma, expectant mothers, and families with young children.

Impact

Providence Place has successfully formed close to 6,000 families through adoption and has provided essential services to survivors of trauma, expectant mothers, and families with children under three, significantly impacting the lives of those it serves.
