Founded in 2011, Whiskeytown Environmental School Community supports the mission of Whiskeytown Environmental School. After the devastating 2018 Carr Fire, WES Community became the official fundraising partner for the National Park Service, focusing on rebuilding and enhancing the school.
WES Community has successfully reopened the school for K-8 programming and is restoring facilities like the pond and amphitheater, providing immersive outdoor educational experiences for thousands of Northern California students.
