From 2014 to 2016, Wheeling National Heritage Area generated an impressive $86.6 million in economic impact, supported over 1,100 jobs, and contributed $6.4 million in tax revenue. This success is achieved through grants and capital funding aimed at restoring historic buildings and promoting cultural programming.
