Founded in 1972, Wheaton Briarcliffe Youth Baseball (WBYB) emerged from a community initiative to provide local youth with a dedicated baseball outlet. Over the years, the league has expanded significantly, adding various divisions and maintaining a strong presence in the Wheaton community. A key achievement includes the preservation of Briar Patch Park, ensuring it remains a public space for all.
For over 50 years, WBYB has successfully fostered youth baseball opportunities, promoting community engagement and providing a safe environment for children to learn and enjoy the sport.
