Our Story

The Whatcom Mountain Bike Coalition, originally founded as the Whatcom Independent Mountain Pedalers, has evolved into a vital community organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing mountain biking trails. With a rich history dating back to the late 1980s, WMBC focuses on trail maintenance, community involvement, and youth outreach programs.

Our Impact

WMBC maintains 118 miles of trails and contributes over 8,000 volunteer hours annually, serving 12,000 trail users each month. This demonstrates a strong commitment to community engagement and environmental stewardship.
