Our Story

Founded in 1991 by passionate citizens, Westmoreland Conservancy aims to protect the last large parcels of land in Murrysville from development. Through community support, over 600 acres have been preserved, ensuring the beauty of our natural, rural, and historic landscapes for generations to come.

Impact

Since its inception, Westmoreland Conservancy has safeguarded more than 650 acres of open space, with over 80% of these lands donated for protection, allowing future generations to enjoy these vital ecosystems.
