Our Story

Founded in 1992 by dedicated members of the Westlake community, the Westlake Youth Basketball Association (WYBA) was established to provide Eanes Independent School District (EISD) students with the opportunity to engage in organized basketball. This initiative fosters essential life skills such as teamwork, commitment, and perseverance in a competitive yet supportive environment. As a volunteer-driven, not-for-profit organization, WYBA has consistently focused on benefiting local students and schools.

Impact

Each year, WYBA provides basketball opportunities for approximately 1,000 participants, contributing over $100,000 back to Eanes ISD since its inception. The organization also supports local schools through scholarships and donations to athletic and physical education departments.
