Founded in the summer of 2008, Westie Rescue of Orange County & Beyond was established by passionate volunteers dedicated to rescuing West Highland White Terriers. Inspired by the plight of overlooked dogs like Pippy and Boo, WROC operates under a no-kill philosophy, providing medical care, rehabilitation, and loving homes for abandoned or neglected Westies.
WROC has successfully rescued, rehabilitated, and placed numerous West Highland White Terriers in loving homes. The organization emphasizes spaying and neutering to control the animal population and educates the public about the breed's needs, significantly improving the lives of many Westies, especially those with special needs.
