Our Story

Founded in 1997, Western United Pioneers (WUP) is a dedicated soccer organization that fosters a vibrant community of over 700 members aged 4 to 23 across western Massachusetts and northern Connecticut. WUP is unique in New England, offering a comprehensive pathway for aspiring soccer players to advance to collegiate and pre-professional levels. Through our youth academy, the New England Mutiny women’s soccer team, and the Western Mass Pioneers men’s team, players receive year-round training and development, guided by a knowledgeable and caring staff.
