Founded in 1903 by the Evangelical Association, Western Home Communities began with a vision to provide a nurturing home for aged church members. After years of planning and a generous gift from an Iowa family, the first facility, The Western Old People’s Home, was established in 1911. Over the decades, this organization has transformed into a comprehensive community service provider, offering a range of living options and care services for seniors.

With the development of a second campus in Cedar Falls, encompassing 150 acres, Western Home Communities significantly enhances the quality of life for seniors, providing them with a vibrant and supportive environment.
