Westcott-Wilcox Home
EIN: 06-6034755 · Danielson, CT
Our Story
The Westcott-Wilcox Home, established in 1904 in Danielson, Connecticut, was founded by a dedicated group of community leaders who aimed to create a sanctuary for the "respectful, indigent, aged and infirmed." With the generous endowments from Miss Almira Westcott and Miss Betsey Wilcox, the home began in a modest house and has since evolved into a welcoming facility at 50 Capron Street. The new building, constructed in 1963, features furnished rooms, communal living spaces, and a dining area where residents enjoy home-cooked meals together, fostering a sense of family and friendship.
Our Impact
Westcott-Wilcox provides a secure and friendly environment where seniors can maintain their independence while enjoying community living. This home is a safe haven for self-sufficient individuals aged 62 and older.
