Westabou Montessori School

Our Story

Founded in 2016 by Margaret Strickland, Westabou Montessori School was established to provide a transformative educational experience for children and families in need, particularly in the underserved Harrisburg neighborhood of Augusta, Georgia. After a devastating fire destroyed the original school building, the community rallied together, allowing the school to continue its mission at a temporary location before returning to a newly renovated facility. Over the years, the school has expanded its programs to serve various age groups, becoming a vital resource for the community.
