Our Story

Founded in 1953 by dedicated local teachers, doctors, and volunteers, West Texas Rehabilitation Center began as a community effort to combat Cerebral Palsy and the Polio Epidemic. Over the years, it has grown to offer comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation and hospice care across multiple locations in West Texas, including Abilene, San Angelo, and Ozona.

West Texas Rehab serves over 850 patients daily, providing $3 million in donor-sponsored care each year. This commitment significantly enhances the quality of life for individuals, regardless of their financial circumstances.
