Our Story

West Street Recovery was formed during Hurricane Harvey by a dedicated group of individuals who came together to perform rescues, distribute food and water, and meet the urgent needs of flood survivors. This grassroots effort has evolved into a worker-directed disaster recovery nonprofit focused on social justice and equitable recovery.
