Our Story

The West Slope Foundation was established in the wake of the Caldor Fire in August 2021, a devastating event that left many in our community in dire need. In the aftermath, the foundation has dedicated itself to helping survivors recover and preparing for future disasters. Through our experiences, we have recognized the critical need for ongoing education and pre-disaster planning. By sharing the lessons learned, we aim to equip our community with the tools necessary to respond effectively to emergencies.

Impact

Since our inception, we have provided over $762,467 in financial and in-kind donations to survivors, assisting 297 households and organizing 39 community events focused on recovery and preparedness.
