The West Seattle Community Orchestras, founded in 2002, began as the Westside Symphonette to provide local students with the chance to participate in a full symphony orchestra. Over the years, WSCO has grown to serve around 260 musicians, including 90 students, offering a variety of ensembles and classes for all ages and skill levels.
WSCO provides free music instruction to students and quality performances to the public, significantly enhancing the musical education and growth of community musicians in West Seattle.
