Our Story

The West Hollywood Community Housing Corporation was established in 1986 by a coalition of senior and LGBT residents concerned about housing issues. Since then, it has developed over 22 affordable rental apartment communities, focusing on high-density, urban infill development to provide housing for low-income individuals, particularly seniors and those with special needs.

Impact

WHCHC has provided high-quality, affordable housing to over 1,270 residents, the majority of whom live below the federal poverty line. Supportive services are emphasized to help residents maintain stable housing and improve their quality of life.
