Our Story

West Creek Conservancy, originally the West Creek Preservation Committee, was founded by passionate local citizens in Parma, Ohio. This dedicated group aimed to protect the West Creek Valley from development threats. Over the years, the organization has evolved into a regional land conservancy, successfully establishing the West Creek Preserve and Greenway, which features recreational trails and corridors.

Our Impact

With a commitment to conservation throughout the Lake Erie Watershed, West Creek Conservancy has protected thousands of acres of natural habitats and improved water quality in Northeast Ohio. The organization transforms urban lands into green spaces, restores streams and wetlands, and welcomes over 180,000 visitors annually at the West Creek Reservation.
