Established in 1987, BuCu West began as a business association along Morrison Rd in the Westwood neighborhood of Denver. Today, BuCu West’s efforts extend to include promoting and supporting entrepreneurs, small businesses, cultural organizations, and residents across Denver. The organization creates paths to ownership for predominantly BIPOC, women-owned, and immigrant-owned small businesses, providing comprehensive business support and access to resources.
BuCu West empowers marginalized individuals to overcome poverty by supporting them in establishing and running their own businesses in the Denver Metro area, creating and growing more than 300 businesses annually.
