Our Story

Founded in 1954 by The North Georgia Conference of The United Methodist Church, Wesley Woods began its mission to provide affordable housing for older adults. The first community was established on the Emory University campus in 1965, and since then, it has expanded to 10 communities across Georgia, serving individuals of all income levels, races, and faiths.

Wesley Woods has earned a reputation as a leader in senior care, offering a range of services that allow residents to transition in place as their needs evolve. These services include independent living, assisted living, personal care, memory care, skilled nursing, and respite care.
