Our Story

Founded by former schoolteacher Virginia Peters, Wesley Housing Development Corporation of Northern Virginia emerged from a church study revealing the urgent need for affordable housing. Over the past fifty years, this visionary organization has grown into one of the top 50 affordable housing developers in the nation, dedicated to creating and operating healthy, supportive, and stable communities.

Impact

Wesley Housing has positively impacted over 3,800 residents in the Washington, DC metro area, providing not just affordable housing but also essential supportive services.
