Our Story
The Wellness Plan Medical Centers was established in 1973 to address the healthcare needs of low-income areas in Detroit. Over the years, it has evolved into the state's largest Medicaid HMO, overcoming financial challenges to become a Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alike in 2007. Today, it operates six medical centers dedicated to delivering affordable healthcare to underserved communities.
