WellMama was founded by Csilla Andor and Amy-Rose White, both dedicated coordinators for Postpartum Support International. Their personal experiences with perinatal anxiety and depression highlighted the scarcity of resources available for mothers. In 2010, WellMama was established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit to provide free social support services for maternal mental health during and after pregnancy in Lane County, Oregon.
In 2017, WellMama served over 700 women and trained more than 300 professionals, significantly enhancing community awareness and support for maternal mental health.
