The establishment of a benevolence fund to be used when a family or individual is in need of temporary help during a time of crisis. The benevolence fund distribution is intended to be a one-time gift. The stated purpose of benevolence gifts are for needs, such as lodging, food, clothing, medical equipment, transportation to or from a place of employment, funeral expenses, initial evaluation and professional counseling appointments.
